Horrible customer service

I ordered an expensive overly priced bookshelf organizer from Pottery barn teen. When I first placed the order the estimated shipping time was during the month of April. Once I ordered it, it changed to a month later or longer. I didn't want to wait that long so the next day I called to cancel it. They told me they couldn't cancel to because it already left to go to the distribution center and I would have to wait until it arrived there to cancel it. Finally it arrived there and I called to cancel it. They told me I waited too long to cancel. I was furious. They finally agreed to cancel the order reluctantly after a explained that I wasn't going to take no for an answer. They said my money would be refunded. Meanwhile I get multiple emails every day asking for me to schedule the delivery. When I finally received my refund, they decided to keep $230 of the over $1,000 I paid for the item. I'm assuming they kept this for shipping but it was never actually shipped to me in the first place. I would like to call them back and tell them something but don't feel like wasting more time. Lesson learned... I will NEVER buy from them again! Buyer beware!

Shipping disaster

We ordered a loft bed in August and it wasn't fully delivered until the following February. It took nearly 6 months with 3 separate deliveries, many phone calls, time spent tracking and reordering before we had a complete bed. It was a disaster, no compensation for the incompetence of their systems. If you don't have time to track, figure out what you're missing, reorder, track, reorder, track and track then don't order from them. There was never any follow-up or follow through from anyone in the company. I will never order from any of the William Sonoma companies.

Junk pillows

I purchased two heart pillows for my daughter for xmas. And by February 10 the pillow ripped and when asked for a exchange only think that was offered was a 5 dollar gift card to purchase something else at there company... good luck getting me to buy anything else.

FRAUDULENT COMPANY! THEY STILL OWE ME A MATTRESS!

This has been the most frustrating, time consuming, unprofessional, disorganized experience of my life and I've been through a divorce! I placed this order on 08/18/20 for my daughter's birthday present! We placed an order for a full sized bed and mattress, desk and hutch, and a night stand.It took until Christmas 2020 and lots of phone calls, before we received the bed frame, end table, desk and hutch in 3 separate deliveries! 4 months we had patiently waited! The mattress did not arrive! Its now February 2021 and my daughter has been sleeping in my office for 6 months while we patiently await the arrival of the mattress. Each month we got an email stating the mattress would ship the following month. Each month I talked to an employee (never a manger because they couldn't find one) who apologized but could not help me! I even asked for a refund because we no longer wanted the mattress. Get this, they could refund the money for the mattress, however, they would still have to charge me shipping. Even though, the mattress had not shipped, and it had been 4 months at that time, they were going to charge me for shipping! So, I said I would wait for the mattress.
Then I received an email confirmation that it had been delivered at 7:39am on February 13,2021. My mattress was not delivered! I called *******494 at 8am on the 13th to state the mattress was not delivered and questioned why I was receiving this Email if the mattress had not been delivered. I also did not receive the phone call to let me know the driver was on his way like I did for the previous deliveries. The employee stated that sometimes the driver sends out the email before they leave the Hickory hub. She tried calling the Hickory hub and said the dispatcher Hickory was trying to get in touch with the drivers. I should receive a phone call 30 minutes prior to the delivery. The drivers would be here between 9-11am. At 11:08am I had not received a phone call from the drivers and the mattress had not been delivered. Then I received an email asking me to rate how the overall experience with the delivery went. UMM, POOR! MISERABLE! IVE BEEN LIED TO AND THE MATTRESS IS NOT HERE! I called the *******494 number again to find out what was going on. The Pottery Barn employee stated she was transferring me to the Hickory Hub. No one in Hickory picked up the phone! I was on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called the *******494 number again. This time I asked for a manager. They said ok and transferred me. An employee named, Cammie, answered. I asked if she was a manager and she said no. I said, well I asked to speak to a manager. She said, she needed my order number before she could transfer me. I gave her the order number and then she proceeded to tell me there was not a manager available. I told her I would wait until one became available! I've been on hold for 60 minutes as of now and no manager! This is a horrible reflection of how to manage a business! It seems like their corporate department needs restructuring or retraining! I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I WILL BE SURE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PUBLIC! AND THEY STILL OWE ME A MATTRESS!
UPDATE! After an hour waiting on the phone I finally get to talk to Candice, a supervisor. Candice tells me the Hickory Hub is not open on the weekends and all of the shipments are coming from Georgia so she can't find out where the driver is. She states she has to investigate because it does state the mattress was delivered. I explained the email stated the driver' name is Pacho. Why can't she call Pacho? She and her boss are conveniently off for a 3 day weekend to celebrate Valentine's Day! So it would be at least Tuesday before I hear back! Are you kidding me?! There's not one Manager on duty on the weekends? I've been inconvenienced for 6 months! My daughter had to sleep in my office for her birthday in September, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and now she has to sleep in my office for Valentines Day because the supervisors and managers don't want to be inconvenienced! My daughter stayed up until midnight decorating her room because she was so excited to sleep there tonight! I've waited at my house all day for a delivery that never showed! I hope there is some kind of legal action that can be taken against this company! This is not ok!

If you want to wait 71/2+months for your order, by all means...

I bought a desk for my kids' virtual school/homeschooling in June. When I bought it, it said it was backordered till September. Fine, I thought, we can manage until then. When September came, the date was changed to October, then November, then December. In January, I finally called Pottery Barn, and they said, oh, it's waiting to schedule delivery. So I scheduled the delivery for February 11,7 1/2 months after I ordered. However, it's February 11, and guess what? It's not being delivered today. There was a problem with part of the order and when I called Pottery Barn, there's no estimate as to how long it will take. We now have bets going that the school year will end before I get my desks. Uggghhh! Such a nightmare! I was going to order a bed from them, but now, no way!

Cheap Cheap stuff for a high price

I wish I read these reviews before I ordered a Baldwin lounge furniture for my teen. It's VERY uncomfortable and looks really cheap, it should've been a 1/3 of the price that it actually was. Their marketing is beautiful, customer service is crappy and zero value. I now remember why I didn't order from them for so many years.

Worst Customer Service

Beware of this company. Returns and refunds will be your expense so make sure you are 100% positive that you want the item before purchase because you will pay for changing your mind. Customers are NOT a priority and satisfaction is for their benefit only.

Pottery Barn Teen Picture

This company is absolutely awful. I ordered a picture at the beginning of October and it shipped the wrong one. I contacted them saying it was the wrong one and said they would send the correct one. Three months later, they claimed that the correct one already shipped. Now, they want us to ship the incorrect one back in order to receive the right picture. What a disaster of a store and terrible costumer service!

Flawed/ Damaged Robe

Received my personalized robe and you can't even see the name and the embroidery threads were not stitched properly. So when I called to talk to customer service rep she said personalized items are final sale and I wouldn't be getting a full refund. I told her I know that but the robe is flawed and damaged and it came that way. We went back and forth for 25mins. Now I'm waiting for a supervisor to call me back in 72hrs. Wow potterybarn you send someone a damaged item and its clearly not what the customer ordered and now I'm fighting for a full refund. I feel ripped off! The top pic is what I thought I was getting and the bottom one is what I received. The other pic is the embroidery stitching on the back. The stitching is also coming out on the front

Worst Service

Forget about ordering furniture! You will never get it! They must outsource from outer space. My daughter has been waiting for her bed for 3 months! No word... no bed...

Cancelled Christmas order placed on 11/22/20 and cancelled on 12/14/20

Wish there were negative stars to give pbteen! This is absolutely the worst company customer service possible. I placed a personalized laundry bag on 11/22/20 to be delivered 12/03-04/20. On 12/14/20 I received an email from payment source I would be receiving a refund. There had been no communication about backorder or cancellation. Nothing like disappointing your kid with their #1 item on their Christmas list. And now no time to order something else.

Desk Blotters are TOTAL RIP-OFF

I was redoing both of my daughter's rooms and ordered the desk blotters that can be personalized. These blotters are $39 and $51 if personalized. I waited for several weeks for them and when they finally arrived they are as flimsy as a piece of paper made out of crappy plastic - one had dents in it and they are the lowest quality items imaginable. The idea of paying this kind of money for an item of such poor quality will keep me from EVER ordering anything at Pottery Barn again. These items cost them $1.50 to make and they are selling for over $100 with tax and shipping. TOTAL RIP-OFF. DO NOT ORDER THESE!
